Climbing the last stairs

Today marks the last official day of construction for me, and I decided to keep the staircase assembly to celebrate in a way my ascension in this journey of A-frame building.
My boldest and wildest endeavor so far, I know, this can be rich from whom who knows me but it's true.
As I'm ascending these steps, one by one, on my knees, putting them together with scared precision (or trying hard) I can only think of my journey, what I become, and where I'm going.
This all started as a fun experience; what will happen if I tune myself to a greater force/ purpose and listen.
And yeah, what happened is outside of whatever my mind could figure out.
Not only this house is beautiful, but it also holds a special kind of energy, that engulf you when you step in, like an ocean of stillness and peace. You know, that feeling when you're sitting alone by the lake, on a quiet morning, and there isn't a slight sound or ripple on the water, that one!
Not only that is the energy it contains, but it also changed me all the way to my core. From an egocentric contractor to someone new, more perceptive, using fewer words but with greater impact, capable of channeling my passion into something greater and with the power of bringing it to life, all while being more grounded than ever.
Well, that's not nothing.
As within so without they say.
So, as I'm ascending to my final destination, the bedroom it seems, and sealing my doors in epoxy, not without struggling with sticky fingers, I can only think of all the ones who came before me, from Musdama the first builder, to all the ones out there in this era, that are also owning their minds and tools with sacred precision.
We're very few, but not alone ❤️
